At Home: Play shape counting-jump. Show your child a shape and they must see how many sides the shape has and jump that number of times. For example, show a triangle. Observe as your child jumps and ask, “How did you know how many jumps to do?” Continue with different shapes.

Math: Students  will subitize numbers, and practice comparing numbers.

At Home: Play a listening game at home. Have your child listen for how many sounds you make then repeat the same number of sounds. For example, clap your hands four times, allowing time between each clap. When you finish, ask your child to open their eyes and say the number of sounds they heard. Then, ask them to make the same number of claps that you made. Repeat with other small numbers and clapping rhythms.
