Due:

Addition and Subtraction Within 1000

Today we will be using the "break apart strategy" to add. This is also known as expanded form.

We will be breaking numbers apart in their values and using what we learned about place value to add numbers... some with regrouping and some without. This is an excellent time to get out those place value disks from a couple weeks ago!

Attached you will find tips, practice, and a challenge!
