ABOUT ME

Tennessee Wesleyan College, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education K-8 (1998).
Cumberland University, Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction (2004)
Lincoln Memorial University, Educational Specialist in Educational Administration and Supervision (2010)

I am excited to begin my twenty-fifth year with Loudon County Schools at Loudon Elementary School as the Assistant Principal.  I attended Loudon County Schools from kindergarten through graduation at Loudon High School.  I began teaching with Loudon County Schools in July of 1998.  I spent most of my teaching career in 4th/5th-grade math and science, and I became the Assistant Principal in July of 2015.
This will be my third year at LES! I cannot wait to get the 2022-2023 school year started.  Being the assistant principal at Loudon Elementary has been amazing and rewarding!  The staff and students are wonderful and we are all working hard every day!

One of my most memorable moments during my elementary school years is going to the library and listening to our librarian read-aloud chapter books.  The library time would pass by way too fast, and I couldn't wait to return the next day to hear more of the book!

On a personal note, I have 3 children, Logan, Jeriel, and Kamron.  I also have 4 grandchildren, Jerilynn, Kasen, Thea, and Lainey.  I enjoy spending time with my family, taking long walks outside, and shopping with my daughter, Jeriel, my daughter-in-law, Caty, and my granddaughter, Jerilynn.
