I am excited to be starting my second year with the amazing students and staff at LES, but I'm not new to teaching as this is the start of my 20th year of teaching children with special needs. I am currently a 4th and 5th grade special education teacher. Throughout my years of teaching, I have taught special needs students from Kindergarten through 8th grades in 4 states: Iowa, Tennessee, Alaska, and Louisiana.
A litlle bit more about me:
My husband, Brandon, and I have been married for 15 years. We have two children, Jackston -8th grade and Olivia-6th grade. We also have a very active English Springer spaniel named Bo and three cats (Millie, Ranger, and Autumn) that live at our Grandma's farm. I enjoy traveling with my family, reading books by Karen Kingsbury or Francine Rivers, watching movies, spending time outdoors, and singing in my church choir. I look forward to sharing more about myself as the year goes on and getting to know you and your child!
