I'm excited to begin my first year teaching here at Loudon Elementary School! I am expectant for a great year full of learning and fun memories. Prior to this year, I worked as a librarian and tutor in the Maryville City School district, and I'm excited for the transition to classroom teacher!  

 

My most formidable memory from elementary school was in kindergarten, when Mrs. Claire made me stay inside from recess because I was talking during class. I remember being so mad and mortified that I couldn't hold back the tears. I couldn't let Mrs. Claire see me crying... so I kept my head on the desk for the entire period! I quickly learned that my actions had consequences! 

 

Here are a few more things you should know about me! I am an avid coffee drinker and llama lover. I love running (actually I hate running while I'm running, but afterwards I convince myself I love it), I enjoy most outdoor and recreational activities, and I like to play guitar and piano in my free time!
