I am excited to be the STEM teacher this year at Loudon Elementary School. I have served as a teacher in grades Kindergarten, 3, 4, and 5. The 2018-2019 school year is my 26th year in education.
The most memorable moment of my own elementary school years was when our principal, Mr. Huffine, would take the 4th graders to the gym to perform physical fitness tests. I was never able to conquer the rope climb challenge. However, I was praised for my ability to jump hurdles. I hope every student in my class can discover and be able to develop all of their special talents and abilities.
On a personal note, I have a husband, 3 children, and 1 grandson. I enjoy beach trips and cooking.
