East Tennessee State University, B.S. in Elementary Education (1999)
I love the relationships that I have built during my time at Loudon Elementary School. I have been a teacher at LES since 2005.  I taught 5th grade for 9 years before moving to 4th grade.  After teaching all subjects in 4th grade for 4 years, I taught only Reading/Language Arts for one year.  I am now responsible for teaching Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies.
My most memorable moment from elementary school was celebrating Hawaii Day in 4th grade.  My teacher brought in coconuts, pineapples, and we had a sandbox in the classroom.  Miss Barton made that day so fun and I learned so much!
On a personal note, I have been married to my husband Chad for 20 years. Our  daughter, Anna, will be a sophomore at Tennessee Tech University.  We enjoy spending time with family and participating in church and community activities.
