My name is Allison Rutherford. The 2017-2018 school year will be my fifth year teaching at Loudon Elementary School, my 7th year teaching and my 11th year in education. I have a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies in Psychology, Education and Special Education, as well as a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University. I am a lifetime resident of Loudon County; I attended Loudon Elementary, Fort Loudoun and Loudon High School. I am very passionate about bettering our community through education and service.
My husband, Tony, also teaches Special Education at Loudon High School and coaches track and field to which I am the assistant coach. Our son, Caleb, is a Freshman at Cleveland State Community College and is a member of the Cougar Men's Basketbell Team (I am a pretty proud mom). Our oldest daughter, Anna, is a Junior at Loudon High School who runs Cross Country and Track and is quite in involved in clubs and volunteer work. Our youngest daughter, Mattie, is a Sophomore, and runs track, particpates in clubs and volunteers alongside her sister.
