University of Tennessee, B.S. in Early Childhood Education  (2003)
University of Tennessee, M.S. in Early Childhood Education (2004)
Arkansas State University, Ed.S in Administration (2018)

I began my career with Loudon County Schools in 2004.  I had the pleasure of teaching 4th and 2nd grade students at Steekee Elementary School to start out my teaching adventure.   From 2006-2016 I taught kindergarten and second grades at Eaton Elementary school.  During my time at both schools I had the pleasure of working with fabulous families and teachers that helped me grow as an educator.  In 2016 I moved into an instructional coaching position at central office.  For two years I provided professional development and instructional coaching to our hard working teachers in Loudon County.  Now, I am the assistant principal for Loudon Elementary School and I am eager and excited to begin this new role.  I am looking forward to serving the parents, students, teachers, and community in this role.  I am a firm believer in teamwork and I am confident that when everyone works together we can accomplish great things!

I am a Loudon County native and went to Highland Park Elementary and North Middle School.  My second grade teacher, Ms. Johnston, was an amazing inspiration to me.  Her love for teaching and her students shined through and created a positive atmosphere that encouraged learning.  Her enthusiasm for teaching inspired me to go down the educational path and for that I am forever grateful.

I live with my husband (Keith), daughter (Hadley), and dog (Perry) in Sweetwater, Tennessee.  We enjoy spending time together and love traveling to new places.
