Good afternoon, Eaton families! We are entering week 3 and it seems like everyone is starting to find their groove.
1. The Scouts visited all students today and they will have their parent interest night tomorrow night at 6:00 and Girl Scouts will have their interest night on Thursday at 6:00 in the cafeteria.
2. Grandparents’ dinner reservations must be made by Thursday, August 21st for our event on Friday, September 5th. We will have dinner, a photo booth, and the book fair will be open.
3. We will conduct a fire drill this Friday as part of our mandatory monthly safety drills.
4. Parent Tip: This week’s parent tip is also focused on fire safety. Having conversations with your child is important so they know what to do if a fire ever takes place at your home. Talk with them about escape plans, a meeting place, stop/drop/roll, and get out, stay out plan. Good afternoon, Eaton families! We hope everyone had a great first week of school and we’ve had a great day with all our kindergarteners joining us today.
1. We have parent night for prek, k, and 1st grade this evening from 5:30-7:00. We will start in the cafeteria at 5:30 and break for classrooms at 6:00.
2. Girls Scouts will be visiting tomorrow during the day, and their parent interest night will be next Thursday, August 21st at 6:00.
3. On Friday we will host our second safety drill for the month of August.
4. Our NEW digital marquee went live today. We are very excited about this and our ability to keep more reminders at your fingertips.

6. Grandparents’ dinner flyers have also gone home for September 5th. Reservations must be made by August 21st. We will have dinner, photo booth, and the book fair.
7. Parent Tip: On registration day we sent home flyers about ParentPowered. The tips will be in text format with fun facts and activities on ways to help your child learn and grow. The text should start today from the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation.
