Ms. Amy and Ms. Watson wrote a grant called The Science of Cooking. They wanted their students to collaborate on cooking experiences, while they learn from each other and enjoy some yummy creations. The Loudon County Education Foundation (LCEF) funded their project through the Primient Math and Science Grant . What a Fabulous Friday we have had! We started off our day with our Friendship Awards. Look how many different friends were celebrated this week! We are so proud of each one of these students who go out of their way to be friendly to others!
Mrs. Carlson’s 5th graders attended the annual Metric System Masquerade Ball! These students have worked hard the past two weeks on converting measurements in both the customary and metric system. Way to dig into learning, kiddos! #digintolearning 📏
On Friday, we had our Fabulous Friendship Awards. These students were chosen for their friendly behavior towards others. They received their certificate and two bracelets. One for themselves and then one to share with a friend! We are very proud of them!

Last Friday we had some Friendship Awards that were given by our ELL and RTI teachers. There was so much going on with celebrations for the 120th day as well as Valentine's Day, that we wanted to give some space on our website to those celebrations. Officer Mike is truly the absolute best. He works hard every single day to keep our school safe, and he does it all with a smile on his face. Our students adore him because he doesn’t just protect our campus he builds relationships, gives high-fives, listens to their stories, and makes them feel important.
He shows up for our kids in so many ways, and we are beyond thankful for his dedication, kindness, and heart for our school family. We are blessed to have someone who cares so deeply about our students and staff.
