First grade spent the week reading folktales in which the main characters were the size of a thumb. We ended the unit by making our own tiny characters.

The cross country team had their last race of the season this morning. Everyone had a great race on a hilly course! Congrats to two of our girls for placing in the top 3!

The LES cross country team raced today at Victor Ashe Park. Five of our runners ran a personal best time, and three students ran the mile in under 8 minutes! Excellent job to all our runners today!
