We are very thankful for Adopt A Class and how they continue to support hands on learning. While learning about energy transfer, students were able work in groups to experiment with Newton’s Cradles. #digintolearning #adoptaclass

🏛️✨ Second grade wrapped up their unit on Ancient Greek civilization with a celebration worthy of the gods! Students competed in our very own Olympics featuring a foot race, discus throw, and javelin toss. After the events, they proudly wore handmade laurel wreaths—just like ancient Olympians! 🏃‍♂️🏅🌿 To top it off, we had a Greek food tasting with hummus, pita chips, Kalamata olives, and feta cheese. A delicious way to end a fun and educational journey through history! 🇬🇷🎉

🦴🩻 Our first graders are learning all about the human body! This week, we had fun exploring bones by making our own skeletons and X-rays. The students loved discovering how our bodies are put together from the inside out. Such a great mix of science and creativity!

🏅✨ Our first graders had a blast at our Fable & Folktale Olympics today! ✨🏅 The rain didn’t stop us from having a good time today, we just relocated to the cafeteria. We’ve been diving into fables and folktales, and today we brought the stories to life: 🕸️ We made a spider web just like in Anansi’s tales. 🥚 We ran a relay carrying an egg on a spoon, inspired by The Goose and the Golden Egg. 🐑 We disguised ourselves in another relay for The Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing. The kids laughed, learned, and worked together—what a fun way to celebrate storytelling, teamwork, and bringing our first unit to a close. #digintolearning
