It's time to Get Yourself 2 School! Regular school attendance is so important to academic success and self-esteem. At the elementary level, parents play a crucial role in ensuring students catch the bus or are dropped off at school on time.
*Students who are not in class by 8:00 are considered tardy. Arriving to class late can be stressful and embarrassing for students.
*Students need to arrive by 7:45 to ensure they have time to eat breakfast at school.
*Students who arrive by 7:30 have 15 minutes to visit quietly with friends and classmates before transitioning to breakfast or class.

K-5 Traffic Flow

Our K-5 drop off has not changed. Parents may use the long route (green route) all the way around the school to drop off students beginning at 7:00 AM. After 7:45, parents may use the short route (orange route on map) to drop off K-5 students.
Until construction wraps up, our K-5 dismissal will change slightly. All cars must use the long route (green route) all the way around the school to pick up students. The shorter route will be reserved for buses only. This is a temporary change. We will notify parents when we can resume two afternoon car lines.
Our special education buses will temporarily drop off and pick up at the Pre-K circle. This information has been previously reported to impacted parents.
Have you picked up your child’s registration packet yet?
Our office is open 8:00-3:00 this week. Parents can pick up at their convenience.

All NEW and RETURNING students are encouraged to drop in during Early Bird Registration on Friday, July 26th. The early bird gets the Kona Ice!
Due to construction in the 3-5 wing, all registration activities will be held in the PK-2 wing of the building. We will schedule an Open House once we are able to open the entire building up to families and visitors.
Students who have not previously registered at LES should bring:
- Legal parent or guardian with picture ID
- Birth certificate (and custody paperwork, if applicable)
- Two proofs of address in Loudon County
- Immunization record
